What a day! Fighters United MMA celebrated our first official promotion! Everyone got stripes and some got new belts, and fun was had by all. Those graduating to blue belts got put through the wringer in a 40 minutes circuit, absolutely brutal! As coach Steve said, you guys are the first bricks in a castle we are building. Read moreWe were present for the first MDL in Maryland and things could not have gone better! We prepared hard and came away with new things to work on. Grateful for the opportunity to test our skills and systems in a safe environment and establish a pipeline of progression to more serious competition. Dave, Sean, Christian, and Julian all did great and we can't wait to do it again! It should also be noted that Dave took a match on 3 minutes notice because someone dropped out. That takes guts and we applaud his fortitude as well as his performance! ....

Javon was locked in and executed the gameplan perfectly to walk away with gold in nogi Nick went out for his first tournament after just 3 weeks of training and got bronze in the gi. That's unheard of! 3 weeks of training and he's already on the podium The success these gentlemen had is a direct result of the hard work and positive attitude we've been seeing in the training room. Nabile and Everette overcame some nervousness to put their jiujitsu on display at an in house tournament hosted by Instinct MMA and we couldn't be prouder! They showed all the hard work they've been putting in at the gym and each walked away with a little hardware. Everette fought 4 matches to take Bronze in his division and Nabile went 1-1 for the day to walk away with silver. We are so proud of these young men and the discipline they showed in training and in competition. Each individual will go back and work on the weaknesses of their game and develop their jiujitsu as well as developing into good citizens.
