Don't let anyone tell you otherwise; jiujitsu is great for all ages! This past weekend Mom, Dad, and young son Haden Magyers went out to compete at NJBJJF and all came back with some hardware! It was the first competition for Mom and Haden and they both did spectacularly despite some pre competition nerves. That's ok! Being nervous is all a part of the game, and you both did great at dealing with the demons of self doubt. Dad brought home a gold medal with 2 submissions while Haden brought home double gold, including a win in a weight class above his! Mom brought home a silver making it all the way to the finals in her first time out which is super impressive! Glad to see our system is working and helping families stay healthy together.
