New MMA Class Addition Starting May 5

Due to popular request, the normal Friday 6pm Gi BJJ class will be converted to a beginner MMA class starting Friday, May 5.  In this class we will begin by going over the basics of defending yourself in the ground and trasnitions from standing to ground.  As always we will start with defense first.  If you're interested in self defense applications for BJJ this class will be immensely beneficial for you as well as you wil see a different dimension to the art once strikes are added.  As students progress we wil add cage work and takedowns.  If you plan on attending the Beginner MMA class please invest in a pair of MMA training gloves.  If you're not sure what to buy we'd be more than happy to help you out! Open mat at 7pm will continue as normal.  

 

Keep in mind this change goes into effect May 5
